FIRST HEARING:
As much a tribute album to Willie Macpherson the composer AND the player and strongly featuring the Elgin Strathspey & Reel Society which Willie 'brought back to life' in 1970.
Lively and/or melodic music as is always expected from the S&R Societies, this though is more than standard fare which we put down to their passion, for the music & the man, as well as their all-round enthusiasm for the genre.
Well worth a listen.
