"Some Have Greatness Thrust Upon Them".
So it was with The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem who, we are sure, did not form into a group to be famous, nor be 'pop stars' but they happened to be touring the USA at a time when a greater choice of music was demanded by the public following on from the success or rock & roll; and TV demanded new faces. And the rest is history.
But Tommy also deserves his legendary status for his writing skills. Listen to the songs too.
