It says much for Gordon J.Walker that he was invited to make this album when he did, in 1996, and still only a Pipe Sergeant in the then band 1st.Bat. The Royal Highland Fusiliers. He was a prolific competition winner right through the 1990s and still had his duties with the army in the Gulf, Bosnia, Germany etc.
He is now, of course a Pipe Major and is still winning competitions.
