The great Scottish fiddler returns, again, to his solo work and this allows him more scope to feature his own compositions along with those of his contemporaries.
The fiddle is kept right at the front of the action and the sterling cast of supporting plays do just that, support.
Some very fine playing as you would expect from one of the most consistently listenable players around.
