FIRST HEARING:
An album of new Scottish country dances that should create a demand.
However we will leave adjudicating on the dances to the dancers and concentrate on the music (as we do!).
Most of the tunes will be familiar so that's always a ++ and 'the Wardlaw' are not without their followers.
The standard 5-piece stroll through the selections in a breezy style that keeps the toes tapping and the booklet gives the syle & bar so many of the tracks may well be used for other popular dances.
The booklet also informs us that there is a DVD available demonstrating these new dances from Moira Stacey & Sue Petyt.
