On first hearing there is little doubt that this is "Irish Fiddle' music but like a good slice of 'Irish' music today it is coming out of America, excellently played by 2nd generation Irish Americans from families who held the music dear to their hearts and kept it alive in their new communities in the USA.
Kathleen comes from one such family and the playing is a joy to hear.
