Matt, with very able accompaniment on piano from Brid Cranitch, takes a whole different road from the majority of 'folk music fiddlers'.
Not for him the gathering together of tunes to separate into jigs & reels.
This is more the road of beautiful airs; certainly more melodic and, perhaps, more romantic.
But this will certainly move you. It's all quite beautifully played.
