The thing that stands out here, apart from the excellent fiddle playing is the arrangements of the tunes, sounds like a "group" rather than a 'solo' fiddle album.
But the fiddle for the most part plays the lead role with the other instruments playing their part in the overall soundscape. Also a good mixture of Traditional and self composed tunes make this an enjoyable album..
