Whilst properly hailed as a young multi-instrumentalist, oor Jamie, on this debut album, opts for what we assume is his principal preference, the fiddle; and despite plaudits he gets for his 'multi-talent' he has no qualm about surrounding himself with some equally fine players.
It is a refreshing debut, full of life and some superb playing.
We shall hear more of Jamie McClennan.
