Two shows recorded when the man was 70 years old - one fairly formal, from the National Concert Hall in Dublin with his fiddle orchestra, and the other with his trio in The Shieling Bar.
A unique DVD in so far as it was the only one commissioned for release and well worth anyone's money if only to gawp at the playing. It only makes you wish there was footage from his younger years though it is hard to believe he was that much better than he is here 'cause this is dynamic stuff.
