As the Highland bagpipe came out of the army mess-halls and as 'civilian' concerts and recitals became more popular, the pipers had to think about a bit more 'entertainment' or 'really clever stuff' to impress their audience - made up mostly of fellow pipers.Here's is some of the stuff they got up to - or good stunts that came off well and opened the door for Tartan Amoebas and others.
