Denis Snowdon is a long-term friend of traditional music. 44 years long in fact, ‘cause that’s how long Denis has been on air with his “Little Breath of Scotland” radio show in Ontario, Canada.
He’s been in touch, taking up our challenge from last month’s newsletter to ‘give us your lists’.
Like any D.J. he tends to go over the top so he gave us a ‘top twenty five’ and equally like any D.J., he then starts to say that ‘it’s a moveable feast and maybe next week I would opt for another selection’.
Make up your mind Denis! Then again, that’s music and the mood it creates or satisfies.
Here’s Denis Snowdon’s Top Ten of “A Little Breath of Scotland”
And, just to prove we are not making this whole thing up to impress you – you can hear “A Little Breath of Scotland” with Denis Snowdon on Sundays on AM740 from 4.00 – 6.00 CST and you can get the show (also on Sundays) on the internet between 9.00 – 11.00pm in the UK at

Thank you for your interest Denis. Keep up the good work!
