Robert Black has been playing the accordion now for 21 years. Although still only 28 he has a wealth of musical experience behind him. He has won the coveted Scottish Accordion Championship no less than five times. His accompanying skills have been employed by most of Scotland's leading artistes including Andy Stewart, Kenneth McKellar, Bill McCue, Moira Anderson and Valerie Dunbar.
Moving to London in 1987 he developed in other styles of music i.e, French Musette, Cajun, Jazz and Classical, which led on to him playing in several musicalssuch as " Fidddler on the Roof " both at home and abroad, and " Irma Le Deuve ", back in Edinburgh for the time being. This is his first solo recording.
