Favourite Melodies is the title of the programme i present each Sunday evening on West Sound Radio. Covering music and song which has stood the supreme test - the test of time - I am constantly amazed by the popularity of these old ballads which, although often very sentimental, where the work of craftsmen.
Many of these are featured on this recording and in several cases both music and song were written by the same person.

All of the songs on offer here tell a story. The words are as important as the music. I hope your favourite is amongst them and that you enjoy hearing them as much as i have enjoyed singing them.
