From the CD " The Very Best Of "
In the 1960s and 70s one of Glasgow's most popular entertainers was the great Glen Daly.
Although Glen had appeared in all of Scotland's top theatres, on television and had toured abroad, without doubt one of his favourite venues was Glasgow's Ashfield Club.
Glen recorded a number of albums there for the PYE record label and this compilation is taken from these. So come along to the Ashfield Club and enjoy this live recording made all the more enjoyable by an appreciative chorus singing audience.
