In the 1960s and 1970s, Arthur Spink and Dennis Clancy were two of Scotland's foremost entertainers delighting audiences wherever they appeared.
Each was an artiste in his own right. Arthur a brilliant Accordionist who had started in show-business as a seventeen year old, Dennis a fine tenor. Together they teamed up and entertained as ' The Twa Braw Lads '.
Either together or as individuals, Arthur and Dennis recorded extensively. Amongst the many labels offering them contracts were the Thistle of Scotland label, the Lismor label, the huge EMI label and the Belfast based Emerald Gem label.
However, the two LPs on this CD were recorded for the then Decca owned Beltona Record Company and released as part of the Beltona Sword series.
