CYTHARA are Jenny Crook and MacLaine Colston.

Jennifer Crook began her professional career in 1992 after graduating from Middlesex University with a B.A. Honours degree in Performance Arts. A multi-instrumentalist , her musical background includes formal training in piano, flute, voice and guitar. She studied harp in London with Jeannette Cordery before moving back to the South-West.

Maclaine Colston began playing the hammered dulcimer when he was 13, inspired by the American player Jim Couza. At the time he was touring the folk clubs and festivals with Jim Couza , they recorded the album " Jubilee " together.
Both Jenny and MacLaine have reached the finals of the BBC Radio 2s Young Tradition Award.
